Jim Fusco is one of the founding members of Fusco-Moore Productions, a Meriden, CT-based production company known for its prolific production of new music.  Having established this studio in Connecticut, Fusco leads a team of songwriters in recording, mixing, and mastering their material.  His expertise in audio mastering was first honed at Southern Connecticut State University, where he earned his degree in communication, specializing in video production.  In the SCSU video studio, Fusco worked with video editing, including exhaustive work with audio mixing and mastering.  However, his work was never confined to merely one venture.  Rather, Fusco has been hired regularly for video recording and video editing jobs – including weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and more – since 2005.  In addition, he has been in charge of video editing and audio mastering for a myriad of FMP projects, ranging from the Laptop Sessions video blog posts to full-scale music videos for songs recorded by songwriters signed to FMP, as well as those who have contracted FMP for audio mastering and video production. 

Perhaps Jim Fusco’s greatest credentials as manager of FMP Studios can be attributed to his accomplishments as a studio musician.  Fusco is a versatile instrumentalist, formally trained to play drums and having an extensive knowledge of music theory relating to both guitar and piano.  On his own albums as well as a studio musician for others’ albums, he has played electric and acoustic guitars, piano, bass, drums and other percussion such as tambourine, saxophone, xylophone, mandolin, and more.  As the lead guitarist for the local band Masters of the Universe (MoU), Fusco has combined his music theory training with his audio mastering and equalization techniques to create polished, professional sounds for the nine albums he has produced.
